- Left for Beijing

- Slept for most of the flight, if not all

- Realised China food sucks

- Konka is a TERRIBLE TV brand
- Received the Beijing International Band Festival official event t-shirt
- Some roads have no lines
- They love revolving doors

18June
- Overslept A LOT
- Temple of Heaven
- Folks' tai chi there is WAY more fun/interesting than what we have here. It was quite cool too
- Cartwheel and jump shots. Peektures, I forgot to bring my camera, I had left it in the bus so I have to get it from the other Percs
- China has good duck meat...?
- SHOPPING. Bargaining is fun
- Mac... MAC OMG. Real but with defects, that's what I heard
- Useless music workshop
- Crystal's phone game damn fun
- Official opening ceremony
- Got addicted to Mario advance 3! Yoshi's island. Pfft HAHA

- Missed photoshoot, woke up damn late
- Woke up damn late in general again, 8:16AM... Supposed to meet at 8:30AM
- Tiananmen Square. Huge square
- More jump shots and cartwheel peektures. This time our cartwheels were nicer muahah
- Forbidden city. Super long walk
- Summer palace. Boring
- Hated lunch seating arrangement. Like perc isn't in band or something. But there was COKE! 5 star toilet apparently
- WE ALL WORE THE NEW PERC SHIRT
- Music clinic/school exchange programme
- One of the adjudicators were there, working on our pieces, but I thought it was a bit unfair to see any of the bands before the competition excluding opening ceremony
- Dinner was FREAKING FUN. Best dinner so far. Lights when out, nightmare replayed but stopped when the lights came back on
- Sat with Veronica, Felicia, Simone
- Veron and I were laughing until our stomachs hurt. LOL
- On to other things; why couldn't she have told me herself?
- Almost all of them seemed damn different. Felt damn unwanted
- I knew what it was like and I felt like I had lost it all
- Why'd you have to screw it up

20June
- Almost missed photoshoot. I decided I'd stay awake the entire night so that I'd be on time the next day and I also not miss the photoshoot. But hey what do you know, no computer so I fell asleep at about 3:20AM and auto woke up at 5:25 :/ But I rushed down to Licia's room anyway. It was supposed to be at 4:30AM. O.O Their TV worked :/ Unfair sia
- Heath and I were so early, we had time to sleep a bit more in our going out clothes with our shoe-ed feet dangling off the side of the bed
- Veron and Kinny were damn surprised to see us early for the first time haha
- Heather's and my first breakfast in Beijing. We both had 2 eggs each haha with CHOPSTICKS. There wasn't anything else
- GREAT WALL OF CHINA
- Super fun
- Chan Pin no.2 or something like that for a performance thingy. Instruments there SUCK. Did I say that? =#
- Night practice at another hotel, in a function room -_- no percussion instruments so we played on air. We gotta practise too right? So it's not weird
- You've take my whole life, there's nothing left to say
- Had damn a lot of fun with Bunfo, Tepik and Nan bao. LOL
- They fell asleep though

21June
- Eggs for breakfast again, woke up more or less on time
- Went back upstairs to change into band uniform
- Dianah did my hair up all nicely. haha
- Heath and I were ready before even 9AM so we slept for a while but we hadn't changed yet
- When Dianah came in, Heather went to change haha but I continued to sleeeeeep cos I set my phone alarm to 9:10 to make sure we don't oversleep.
*Eeeks my tenses here suck*
- Sound check
- Lunch: Banana, rice, veggie, meat. I put the banana in the rice and left it at that. Banana rice was what I had for lunch
- THE COMPETITION...
- Our score was very satisfactory
- Closing ceremony (If I'm right, it was the closing ceremony), IJ Heartbeat( I like mushroom heads more), Domus and Sway
- Depressing things went on. Excluded feeling maximised
- Last night in Beijing ruined totally

22June
- Damn late waking up again
- Very strange feeling of awkwardness
- 1-hour music clinic with Dr Mills(?) I was falling asleep on stage cos of just being me so I had to take myself off and sit at the back to nap. Dr was one of the adjudicators sia
- Olympic store!!! Bought cups =) Spastic luhh..
- Tea house. Tried 5 different teas. I like the last one most. The litchi I think.
- Bought stuff again. Spastic Shannen shop till she drops but NO I didn't. I wasn't even close to dropping
- Lunch, cool performances
- Zena! I think only you know right? In the bus? Shhh... =) Don't tell anyone. It was nothing, really. Ily!
- Hotel, had less than 15 minutes to do final packing
- Settle
- Shopping at another mall! Went around with Felicia, Veronica and Monica and met Kinny and Dianah and Heather along the way off and on and Simone and Shalyn went on an underwear rampage...?
- Dinner. "Peking duck" not quite but helluva close
- Award ceremony
- Officially: I BAND GOT A GOLD =D
- Zena and I had fun with our worms and cockroaches
- Felicia and Jayni had fun with their SLIME
- Airport
- Plane

Home.

- Spent more time with Veronica today(yesterday..?) than ever before, it seems.
- IJ Band got GOLD
- Heather and Zena lost 3KG =( Their pants are dropping. And me? I doubt anything. My jeans ain't dropping, only a little after a long walk.
- I miss Beijing and YAN already. But eh... Polluted air
- China has the best bottled orange juice

This trip I wanted to really spend time with the seniors cos it's the last thing before they step down. And this is how most of it turned out, gone.
But the last last last ultimate last wasn't bad at all. I think. =)
So I guess, in terms of that, it was overall and may I stress OVERALL an enjoyable trip.

It's like they're just walking out of our lives and there's nothing that can change that. Alumni! Oh I wish. -_- Never happening. It's OK... They have brighter futures before them.

And my brother rocks. =)
He's one of the only people who can make me eat veggie without pissing me off.
Other people just force it on me like I'm a dog which pisses me off. Just stop at "aiya just eat luh" if I don't eat then shut up. You can't make me eat things. =)

My new house is the... Like.
I like it.
I still love my old one that is uhhh OPPOSITE.

But this room is bigger, the aircons work better. But the estate is more confusing.
It's a good place to do car racing though =D

NOT because I'm just dampening, not cos of that, but cos I don't really like the song? It's nice but ehh.... Not MESSAGE-y enough.

I like feeling I guess. That's why my top 10 songs are all the rather slow-ish kind.
Even though I do love avenged and all that too. The super noisy super screamo. <3 but my ultimate favourites will still be the ones that 'speak' to me. :]

And now I'm sorting out my iPod songs.
Genres, lyrics, artwork, composers, everything.
Because I was irritated by my iPod today. Haha.
I mean, I admit, haha, I don't buy every album LOL.
I get from people online. =D
And the band songs, yeah. That stuff...
And I was annoyed because I selected Classical genre and came out my Safri Duo CD, Bach to the future (Damn nice btw, the percs! VIBES AND MARIMBA. With a bit of bells and xylo and a touch of drums =D) and another band song, but under instrumental were another 2 songs and under 'genre' (wth is that anyway?) was another 2 songs and AH I was so annoyed.
And the Avenged songs, some in hard rock some in hardcore some in nothing. -_-
So I decided I'd come home and SORT IT OUT.

hahahaha. And that's what I'm doing.
I'm gonna be here sorting forever. :/
